Gaming Factory are happy to announce a cooperation agreement signed with Hyundai Motor for JDM: Japanese Drift Master. The fruit of this labour is the addition of the Insteroid to JDM. It is a cutting-edge electric concept vehicle, which perfectly blends the digital gaming culture with motorsports.
Insteroid represents Hyundai Motor's future-forward vision, blending performance optimized for drifting with a futuristic and eye-catching design. This vision of a concept drift car perfectly aligns with JDM's focus on drift culture and is a novelty addition to the roster of all-time drift classics available in the game. The electric car's acceleration momentum will definitely influence how players will drive and manage the car on touge routes and race tracks.
The new car comes to the game alongside a new, four-races long side mission campaign, in which the player will need to compete in the Insteroid against other Hyundai branded cars - the Inster and the Ioniq 5. Win two touge races, a time attack and a drag race to earn the Insteroid for your garage in JDM. The first race of the side mission campaign unlocks after completing Chapter 01, Mission 06 of the main storyline and is accessible from the open world via Point of Interest.
The Insteroid and its side mission campaign will be added to JDM: Japanese Drift Master in a free update on October 30.
Visitors of the Japan Mobility Show, taking place in Tokyo between October 30 and November 09, will be the first players able to play the Insteroid in JDM, thanks to a dedicated gaming space set up in Hyundai Motor's booth at the show.
