We have today taken a look at the Sonata Plus 550 from Antec, a silence performance chassis with a powerful power supply already fitted inside the case on arrival. It offers lots of details and functions to silence your computer, manage your cables and easy installation.

Even though it might look like an OEM chassis on the outside, the inside offers lots more than you will ever find in an OEM chassis.

One downside with this chassis is that, like the P182, it has some problems with newer graphic cards. The P182 can still hold an extended graphics card, but the Sonata 550 will not be able to.

Our GeForce 8800GTX graphics card is longer than standard sized graphics cards and therefore it won’t fit inside the Sonata 550, it is simple to small for high end cards.

This will lower the overall score of the Sonata both as this is a new product and it was not made to be used with high performance graphic cards and that is a real shame. Overall this computer case is a great one offering lots of features.
