Coolink Silent Savior

Christopher Fredriksson

As with the Vizo Voyager we test the Silent Savior from Coolink in our Antec P182 computer case.

  • Intel Core2Duo E6600 @ 2.4GHz 4MB FSB1066
  • Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 iP965
  • XFX GeForce 8800GTX XXX 630MHz GPU 768MB DDR3
  • 2 GB Corsair XMS2-6400 Twin2X2048
  • 3x Western Digital WD2500JS 250GB 7200rpm 8MB SATA2
  • Antec Truepower 1000W
  • Windows Vista Ultimate
  • Standard cooling for the case. 1 exhaust; back, 1 intake; front. ( top exhaust turned off )

We will also use the same Western Digital WD2500JS 250GB 7200rpm disk drive for the tests with Silent Savior to get an accurate test. Ambient temperature during tests were at 21º Celsius.

The temperature was taken also under the circuit board of our disk drive with the Silent Savior to avoid winds from the fan.
