Zerotherm Hurricane HC92 CU 8800 Cooler

Christopher Fredriksson

We have today tested the ZeroTherm HC92 CU 8800 graphics cooler from APACK, which is an after-market product that aims to provide better cooling than your stock cooler on the graphics card that you use.

The HC92 covers a few different product lines, which is great. You also have three different options available with this cooler, depending on your graphics card. All graphics cards can handle both with the plastic cover fitted and removed, but if you have a graphics card that don’t run too hot, then you even can remove the fan from the cooler to have a totally silent solution.

Many thoughts and ideas has gone into making this cooler, but didn’t they think of that the cooler actually became three stories high instead of the stock cooler that is “just” two stories?

But for the performance given, we can’t argue with the size ;)
Although, you will probably not be able to run SLI configurations with this cooler, but even if the graphic cards become cheaper and cheaper, you probably don’t even have a SLI configuration yet either.

Our score for this product is as follows;

I would like to thank Jason. A. Choi at ZeroTherm and Magnus at PCB Distribution Sweden for providing us with the samples.
